What Is Open Right Now.

Vidyarambh Gurukula runs four kinds of gathering: a live workshop with Guruji, a five-day offline immersion, the annual record ceremony, and travel by invitation. This page lists what is currently open, and nothing that is not.

If a date is not on this page, it has not been fixed yet.

The Power Of Third Eye.

The one event that runs on a fixed rhythm, and the one every other thing on this site began with.

Live · With Guruji

Three Hours. Ages 6 to 16. Parents in the Room.

Guruji teaches the core practice live, the child attempts it in the session, and the parent stays for all three hours. Nothing is recorded and sold back to you afterwards.

Most families on this website started here and decided about everything else later.

What a Day Actually Looks Like

Nothing Starts With the Blindfold.

Parents arrive expecting the demonstration. It is the last thing that happens, and it only works because of the three things that come before it.

01Children in prayer at the start of the day
First · Before Anything Is Taught

The Day Opens in Silence.

Every gathering begins with prayer. Not instruction, not doctrine — a room of children arriving at the same stillness at the same moment, which is harder than it sounds and is the first thing most of them have never been asked to do.

Nothing is demanded of them yet. No one is tested. The only task is to be here.

A child who cannot settle cannot be taught. So settling is the first lesson, not the preface to one.

02Children practising yoga
Then · The Body

Because the Mind Will Not Sit Still Inside a Restless One.

Asana and breath, taught simply and without performance. No child is corrected in front of the others and no child is asked to hold anything they cannot hold.

This is where the fidgeting goes. Fifteen minutes of proper movement does more for a distracted eight-year-old than an hour of being told to concentrate.

Bharath understood the order: body, then breath, then attention. We have not improved on it.

03A session in progress at the Gurukula
Then · The Teaching

The Practice Itself, Taught Slowly.

Guruji explains what the child is going to do, why it works, and what it is not. The technique is not complicated. It is repeated until it stops feeling like an instruction and starts feeling like something the child owns.

Parents sit through this part too. Every question a child is likely to ask at home has already been answered in the room.

Nothing here is hidden or reserved for a higher level. The whole method is taught in front of you.

04A child attempting a blindfold activity
Last · In Front of Everyone

And Then the Blindfold.

Reading. Colours. Cards. Stacking cups. The activities vary because the point is not the trick — the point is that the child is working with something other than their eyes, and the room can verify it.

Parents tie the blindfolds themselves. That is deliberate. A demonstration you set up yourself is the only kind worth watching.

Some children do it on the first day. Some take weeks. Both are said out loud, to everyone, before anyone puts a blindfold on.

The Rest of the Calendar

Three Gatherings That Do Not Run Weekly.

These open a few times a year. Dates go to the enquiry list first, because seats are limited by the size of a hall rather than by a server.

Dates on requestFive Days · Offline

The Five-Day Offline Immersion

Children and parents in the same hall, morning to evening, for five days — including a morning at the goshala. This is where almost every video on our Previous Events page was filmed.

The Annual Gathering & Record Ceremony

The families return and Guruji places each certificate into the child’s hands himself. More than fifty children have now been recognised by the India, Asia, London and OSCAR record books.

Guruji Travels to Your City

Schools, residential communities and organisations can invite Guruji to teach on location. Every request is read; not every request is accepted.

Tell Us About Your Child. We Will Write Back.

This is not an automated list. Someone from the Gurukula reads every enquiry and replies with the dates, the format and what to expect — usually within two working days.

Sends on WhatsApp. No payment on this page, no automated calls — one reply from a person.

Your enquiry is on its way.

We have opened WhatsApp with your details already filled in. Press send in WhatsApp and it reaches the Gurukula straight away.

Someone will read it and write back with the next date and the format — usually within two working days.

For Schools, Communities and Organisations

Two Hundred Children in One Hall Is Not a Bigger Workshop. It Is a Different One.

The practice does not change with the size of the room. Everything around it does. A hall of two hundred needs volunteers who know what happens on day three, blindfolds that actually fit a six-year-old, and a floor plan where every parent can see their own child.

Guruji has taught in school halls, residential communities and private gatherings across Bharath. He will tell you honestly if your setting is not right for it — and he has said no more often than yes.

Best fit: 40 to 250 children, ages 6 to 16
Needed: one hall, seated on the floor, no stage required
Parents: must be allowed in the room, not waiting outside
Not a fit: assemblies, prize days, anything with a stopwatch

Tell us the city, the age range and roughly how many children. If it is a fit, we will say so. If it is not, we will tell you that too, and why.

Already Happened

Before You Decide, Look at What Has Already Been Done.

Thirteen recorded videos from past gatherings — parent interviews filmed in the hall, uncut demonstrations, and the goshala morning.

Before You Write

Four Doors. Pick the Right One.

Most of what people write to ask is already answered on one of these pages, usually in more detail than an email would give.

Where We Are

A Village You Will Not Pass Through by Accident.

Shivapura sits in Shikaripura taluk, in Shivamogga district, Karnataka. Hanumadashrama is beside the Shri Varadanjaneya Swamy temple. Visitors are welcome, but write first — Guruji travels, and an unannounced visit may find the ashram empty.

Write to Us

Say What You Actually Want. We Will Say Yes or No.

Long messages are welcome. A clear one is better than a polite one, and a specific question gets a specific answer.

Sends on WhatsApp, read by a person at the Gurukula. No automated calls, no list you did not ask to join.

Your message is on its way.

We have opened WhatsApp with your message already written out. Press send in WhatsApp and it reaches the Gurukula straight away.

Someone will read it and write back. If it takes longer than a few days, it is because Guruji is travelling.
