A Year Long Enough to Change a Habit.

Hanuman Yoga — the Year of Deepening. Three months of structured training in body, breath, emotion and discipline, then nine months of guided practice through school terms, exams and holidays. Ages 6 to 16, after the 32-Day Challenge. By the end of it, the practice is not something your child does. It is someone your child is.

What This Is

A Practice Becomes a Nature

The 32-Day Challenge proves what is possible. Hanuman Yoga makes it permanent. No child begins here — the Challenge comes first, always. Over three months of structured training, the instruments of a young life — body, breath, emotion, discipline, memory and inner vision — are trained together, the way the gurukulas always trained them: as one thing, not four subjects. Then the year of guided practice does what no intensive can: it lets the practice grow roots through school terms, exams, holidays and moods.

One Nagpur father put it plainly: “His class teacher stopped me at the gate and asked what tuition we had joined. It is not tuition, madam. It is something much older.”

What Is Built

The Six Trainings

Six trainings, woven as one — the gurukula never taught them separately, and neither do we.

1

The Body

Surya Namaskara and asana built for growing bodies — strength and stillness in the same spine.

2

The Breath

Pranayama beyond the basics — the lever that moves the mind, in the child's own hands now.

3

The Emotions

Watching a feeling instead of becoming it. The training that decides whether an exam hall is a test or a threat.

4

The Discipline

Not imposed by a parent standing over them. Built by doing the same practice at the same time, on the days they feel like it and the days they do not.

5

The Memory

Recall training continued and deepened — applied directly to studies.

6

The Inner Vision

The faculty opened in the 32-Day Challenge, practised until using it costs the child no effort at all.

The Journey

The Year, Step by Step

From the first month's fire to the twelfth month's roots.

1
Months 1–3

The Intensive

Structured training in the four instruments. [Session schedule — from course PDF.]

2
Months 4–6

The Settling

Guided practice with regular check-ins. The habits survive their first exam season.

3
Months 7–9

The Testing

School, moods, festivals, distraction — the practice holds because it is now the child's own.

4
Months 10–12

The Rooting

By year's end the question is no longer 'did you practise today?' It is your child reminding you.

Why the Name

Hanuman Did Not Know What He Could Do.

In the Ramayana, Hanuman stands at the edge of the ocean and cannot cross it. Not because the strength is missing — because he has forgotten he has it. Jambavan reminds him. He crosses.

Every child in this programme has already seen what they can do. They read a page with the blindfold on, in front of their own parents, and the room went quiet. The question after that is not whether the capacity is there. It is whether they will practise it on an ordinary Tuesday, in the middle of exam term, when nobody is watching.

That is what a year is for — and why the year carries Hanuman's name. Strength that serves. Devotion that shows up daily. And the discipline to keep going long after the demonstration is over.

The Challenge shows a child what they are capable of. This year is where they find out who they are when it stops being exciting.

Say What You Actually Want. We Will Say Yes or No.

Long messages are welcome. A clear one is better than a polite one, and a specific question gets a specific answer.
