You make a hundred decisions a day, and every one of them arrives with advice attached — colleagues, feeds, family, the voice of every book you have half-read. Somewhere under all of it is your own knowing. It never stopped working. It stopped being audible.
Inner GPS is the adult beginning of the Sadhaka Path. The core training is pratyahara — the deliberate withdrawal of attention from the noise — the step the Yoga Sutras place before meditation, and the step every meditation app skips. When the crowd quiets, the needle settles. Patanjali listed pratyahara as the fifth of eight limbs, ahead of concentration and meditation — because he did not think the later two were possible without it. Two thousand years later, most people attempt them in the wrong order.

This is the most common way an adult arrives here. A parent tied a blindfold, watched their own child read a page, and spent the following weeks watching the child get calmer, steadier, easier to live with. Fifteen minutes a day did that.
And then the parent carried on exactly as before — running the same crowded mind that made the household noisy in the first place. It is not hypocrisy. Nobody offered them the adult version.
