1. Who We Are
Vidyarambh Gurukula is an educational initiative of Shri Varadanjaneya Swamy Gowsamrakshana Charitable Trust, Hanumadashrama, Shivapura, Shikaripura Taluk, Shivamogga, Karnataka — 577428 ("the Trust", "we").
2. Information We Collect
- Contact details you share through enquiry and registration forms — name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, city.
- Participant details for programs — a child's first name and age, provided by the parent or guardian.
- Payment information is processed by third-party payment providers (e.g. Razorpay / TagMango). We do not receive or store your card or banking details.
- Usage data such as pages visited, collected through standard analytics tools.
3. Children's Information
Our programs serve children aged 6–16. We collect a child's information only from and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Enrolment and all program communication happen through the parent or guardian. We never publish a child's name, image or story without written parental consent.
4. How We Use Information
- To respond to enquiries and deliver the programs you register for.
- To send program schedules, practice reminders, program updates and announcements about new programs and events — including on WhatsApp, where you have shared that number. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To improve our website and programs.
5. What We Never Do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (payments, messaging, hosting), and only to the extent needed.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
We keep your information for as long as you remain in touch with the Gurukula, so that we can answer you and keep your program history. We do not delete it on a fixed schedule. You may ask us at any time to correct or delete your information, or to stop receiving communication, by writing to the email address below, and we will act on that request.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always live on this page.
